Born in the mountainous region of Mason River Clarendon Jamaica WI, Wild life first started singing in  the church and  in school. The sound of his earthy grovelling vocals which is a cross between Prince Far I, Buju Banton and Jack Radics.
He worked as a farmer and a motor vehicle alignment  technician before changing gear to doing music  full time.
A fellow artiste introduced him to Caveman Productions, who too was impressed with his vocals. Wild life produced and recorded his first single  “Wuk So Hard “with the help of Caveman. He met and work with Bunny Wailer releasing the song  Farming Time.
He attracted the attention of many international labels in Europe, South America, Africa and Australia such as Mongos Hi Fi , Irie Ites ,149 records Unrulee Records etc.
In 2009 , Wild life’s debut album “Too Tuff “was released by Not Easy At All Production out of Holland. The album showed Wild Life as a truly versatile and inspiring artiste. Bridging traditions rooted in the motherland Africa, with modern dancehall culture. The album was well received giving “reggae lovers the cult classics  “Ganja Yard”  which was re-released on numerous compilations. In 201O “THE FOLK RIDDIM” EP (Umann France) followed.
On the verge of a major breakthrough in the Europe reggae scene, Wild life’s  mission  almost collapsed  when he met in a major  car accident  in 2011. He lost his mother to cancer that same year. For almost a year and a half Wild Life was immobile shelving touring and promotional  plans .He rebounded  in 2013  with several new singles and The Yaad Man Mixtape released in Europe by Reggae United Blog and Bass Culture  (France). In that same year he travelled to the mother land Africa rehearsing in South Africa and performed on the More Love Festival at the Glammis Stadium in Harare ,Zimbabwe.
He appeared in the 2009 movie “Wha Do Dem”. His song “Babylon get Nervous” on the Rising Sun Label was included in the movie sound track compilation.
A fresh chapter has began in Wild Life’s journey. Radio stations in Jamaica  such as Irie Fm , Hits 92 Bess 100 Fm have added Wild Life’s music to their playlists.
Wild life growing fan base is stretching further across the globe with the release of the video and single for his song Old Corolla. Through the power of “Old Corolla” Wild Life was awarded Best New Artiste for 2013  on Shryick Radio out of St Louis.
Wild life’s  music reflects a deep understanding of the Jamaican cultural offerings which draws heavily on his rural upbringing.
He showcases effortless vocal versatility by seamlessly switching between the powerful rough vocal deejay style to a smooth singing style. Lyrically its consciousness all the way . He sings about reality but always from perspective of love, progress and vision.
He states “my music in not  about alcohol, fancy car and bling bling but about topics indigenous to my Jamaican heritage that rings home to the average music  listener.
He continues to blaze the trail and kept the fire burning as his predecessors Prince Fari and Peter Tosh .

Triston Palma brengt ‘old skool’ roots reggae uit Jamaica. ReggaeCentral 20150822

The band is currently recording and mixing new riddims, that we hope to release somewhere in March 2015. Stay tuned!
